You visit:
You will see the castle cellars, the unique chapel of St. Barbara and also the recently discovered and newly restored Gothic statue of St. Barbara of the mid-15th century.
The panel exhibition tells the the story of the Grabštejn medieval statue and the local Renaissance owner, Jiří Mehl of Střelice, who had the castle chapel consecrated to St. Barbara, as well the life of St. Barbara and this saint as a source of inspiration.
The tour ends with an archaeological exhibition in which local archaeological attractions can be seen.
At the end of the tour visitors can climb up to the castle tower which offers a view of the surrounding area.
The visiting of the castle is only possible with a guide.
The tour is offered in Czech, in English language by appointment only. You can also join the Czech tour and we will lend you texts about the castle in English (as well as in German or Polish).
Guided tours in English are only possible for pre-booked groups of more than 15 people.
